Our mission
Founded in 2021, the fondation Les Amis du Festival is part of the movement that the Festival de Cannes has been driving forward since the 2000’s: supporting and mentoring up-and-coming film-makers, helping raise a new generation of film lovers, and sharing a passion for cinema around the world. Les Amis du Festival also contributes to initiatives launched by the Festival to develop ever more responsible and environmentally-friendly events, and helps showcase the Festival’s heritage.

Les Amis du Festival brings together individuals and companies with a passion for film and culture, supporters who accompany the Festival de Cannes along the path to achieving its many goals.

Les Amis du Festival is a non-profit association that runs events for Les Amis, and a foundation that collects donations and sets out support policy for Les Amis du Festival under the aegis of the Fondation de France.
